Grave Locating Services

FPM is considered one the nations leading experts on locating unmarked graves. With international publications, geophysical grave location investigations have reached nearly 15,000 cemetery related businesses within the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and throughout Europe. FPM’s geophysical grave location services have been featured in various hard copy and online newspapers, professional journals, magazines (see below for a full list of publications and links.) Further, speaking opportunities have ranged from local club meetings to international conventions.

EM61 SurveyProject experience includes government, private, industrial, and research projects for identifying locations of unmarked graves, delineating actual locations of marked graves for headstone placement and disinterment, to determine available space for future burial plot sales, and to relocate boundaries of abandoned cemeteries. All geophysical investigations are coupled with Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Kite Aerial Photography to provide detailed, scaled maps for future relocation and identification.

Our state of the science instrumentation and software provide results that can be integrated into existing cemetery software. Additional services include geophysical assessment of potential plot space and land survey services.
