ENVIRONMENTAL | |
|
FPM conducted surface and borehole geophysical surveys as part of groundwater remedial
investigations at the Apple Valley and Lenwood-Hinkley Sanitary Landfills in order to delinate faults and map bedrock topography.
|
UXO | |
 |
High-resolution UXO geophysical site investigations (SI) were conducted at five historical bombing ranges, totaling
1,900 acres.
|
FPM conducted a UXO digital geophysical
mapping (DGM) survey and remedial activities
in advance of drilling operations by Chesapeake
Energy Corporation. The DGM survey area
totaled approximately 3.5 acres in an area of
known UXO/MEC where drilling of a gas
production well was planned.

|
High-resolution geophysical scanning and UXO remediation was conducted on a commercial property located at
Penny’s Bay, Hong Kong. During a 14-month period over 150 hectares (370 acres) were
screened for the equivalent of 152-mm unexploded
WWII Era UXO with magnetic equipment.

FPM Geophysicists researched the feasibility of locating
and delineating unmarked grave locations in Potter’s
Field (Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia
Kansas) with geophysical and remote sensing technology.
